  Project Cost: $998,893.00
  Scope: Removing and replacing signs along the interstate with new ones.
  Duration: Nearly completed.
 

I-8 Crack Seal Project (MP13 -29)

  Location: In Yuma County on I-8 between Foothills Blvd. to Wellton
  Contractor:

Cactus Transport, Inc.

  Project Cost: $388,000.00
  Scope: The project consists of filling cracks in the pavement from Yuma Foothills to Wellton. Project also includes new pavement markings, signs and other miscellaneous work.
  Duration: February 2012- April 2012

  Project Cost: $906,775.00
  Scope: Removing and replacing signs along the interstate with new ones.
  Duration: January 2012- Spring 2012
 

I-8, State Line to Fortuna Road (MP 0.56-13.7)

  Project No.: 008-A-(206)A / H779301C
  Location: Interstate 8 from Milepost 0.56 - MP 13.7
  Contractor:

Meadow Valley Contractors, Inc.

  Programmed Cost: $10,994,201.00
  Scope:

The work consists of milling the existing pavement and replacing it with new AC pavement and a 1/2" of AR-ACFC. Additional work includes pavement markings, guard rail, minor drainage improvements, and other related items.

  Duration: February 2011 to 2012
 

I-10 Dike Repairs

  Location: Interstate 10 (MP 47-48) approximately two miles east of Vicksburg Rd. traffic interchange.
  Contractor:

Southwest Concrete Paving Co.

  Project Cost: $256,413.44
  Scope: The project consists of repairing dike materials, removing and replacing fence, erosion control and other related items.
  Duration: January 2012- Spring 2012
 

I-10 MP 52 to 63 Bouse Wash Rest Area to Gas Line Road

  Project No.: H751101C
  Location: I-10 from mile post 52 to mile post 63
  Contractor:

Meadow Valley Contractors, Inc.

  Project Cost: $6,734,226.00
  Scope: The proposed work consists of removing the existing pavement and replacing it with a rubberized asphaltic concrete friction course. In addition, a portion of I-10 will be rehabilitated with a hot blend of an emulsified rejuvenating agent and recycled material. The project also consists of replacing guardrail, replacing existing pavement markers, removing vegetation and other miscellaneous work.
  Duration: Approximately 8 months beginning September 2011
 

SR 85 @ Gila Bend Phase I

  Location: State Route 85 & Business 8 in Gila Bend
  Contractor: Haydon Building Corp.
  Project Cost: $13,473,722.00
  Scope:

Project will improve safety and enhance State Route 85 (Pima St.) in Gila Bend. The project includes construction of a new, elevated intersection at State Route 85 (Pima St.) and Business Route 8 (B-8), a wider bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad, and realigning both State Route 85 (Pima St.) and Maricopa Road.

  Duration: Fall 2011 - Spring 2013
 

SR 95 at Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge Road (MP 160)

  Project No.: H779401C
  Location: SR 95 south of Lake Havasu
  Contractor:

Fann Contracting, Inc.

  Project Cost: $2,386,729.54
  Scope: The work consists of adding a two-way left turn lane, shifting the intersection north to allow access for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and CAP pumping plant. Work also includes drainage improvements, new pavement markings, signage and guardrail work.
  Duration: January 2012- July 2012
 
SR 195 I-8 to US 95 - Design Concept Report
  Project No.: 195 YU 27 H7043 01L
  Location: State Route (SR) 195 between Interstate 8 and US 95 in Yuma
  Contractor: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and the Federal Highway Administrations (FHWA)
  Scope: Engineering and environmental studies have been initiated to determine what improvements would be needed.
  Duration: Finalize study and environmental documents; FHWA approval. Completion delayed; schedule to be determined.
     
US 95 Milepost 42 to Milepost 66 - Design Concept Report
  Project No.: 095 YU 42 H7022 01L
  Location: US 95 between approximate MP 42 and MP 66, located on the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) in Yuma and La Paz Counties, Arizona.
  Contractor: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and the Federal Highway Administrations (FHWA)
  Project Cost:  
  Scope: An engineering and environmental study is being completed to determine what improvements are needed for the future operation of US 95 between approximate MP 42 and MP 66.

  Location: US 95 at Castle Dome Rd. north of Yuma

  Project Cost: $3,034,425.00
  Scope: Project consists of overlaying the pavement with new pavement.
